The MSc Strategic Information Systems is a 180-credit Level 7 qualification delivered entirely online through Blackboard. Designed for flexibility, the programme combines recorded lectures, live tutorials, interactive workshops, simulations, and collaborative learning, allowing you to balance your studies with professional and personal commitments.
The programme consists of five core modules, one specialist elective, and a 60-credit dissertation. Core modules develop your understanding of business strategy, information systems governance, project management, digital transformation, and research methods. You will then choose one specialist pathway in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence for Business, or Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, allowing you to tailor your studies to your career goals.
The programme concludes with an independent dissertation, where you will apply your knowledge and research skills to investigate a real-world information systems challenge within your chosen area of specialisation.
